“Pursuing Excellence in Measures and Quality”

In chemistry laboratories, various analyses are performed on water, beverages and food samples to assess their quality, purity, composition, and safety. Here are some common analyses we conducted in our chemistry laboratories for water and food:

WATER ANALYSIS:
pH Measurement: pH determines the acidity or alkalinity of water.
Turbidity Analysis: Measures the cloudiness or clarity of water caused by suspended particles.
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS): Evaluates the total concentration of inorganic and organic substances present in water.
Conductivity Test: Determines the ability of water to conduct an electrical current, which is related to its ion concentration.
Heavy Metal Analysis: Detects the presence and concentration of toxic heavy metals such as lead, mercury, arsenic, etc., which may pose health risks.

ALCOHOL MEASUREMENT:
Determining the alcohol content in beer, whiskey, Cider and other alcoholic beverages. It is typically measured using Alcolzyer Antor Paar instrument.
Parameters measured are;
Alcohol content, Color, pH, CO2 Content and mass sugar concentration (sugar extract).

SOFT DRINK:
Parameters measured in soft drinks are; Brix content, Carbonation level, colour and pH.
